Teen Advisory Board the first Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm in the teen area for students in 7th-12th grade

Make the Library a place you want to be!

Do you love books? Do you like meeting with friends to plan programs? Then the Teen Advisory Board is for you! Join the Teen Services Librarian and other teens as we meet monthly to discuss books, plan programs, enjoy snacks, and make the teen area a place you want to be!

During TAB meetings, members will have the opportunity to advise the Teen Services Librarian and other library staff on books, teen programming, and resources. Members will gain important leadership and communication skills while learning how an advisory board functions and achieves its goals. Attending TAB meetings is a great way to get volunteer hours and qualifies as community service. TAB meetings also look great on a resume!

Please be aware that TAB meetings should be a commitment and it is expected that members attend monthly meetings, future library events, and sign up for volunteer opportunities.

No registration or application required! Students in 7th - 12th grade can join TAB on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm in the teen area on the 4th floor of the Library.

Questions? Call (714) 773 - 5719 or visit the Teen Services Librarian on the 4th floor.
