Volunteering with the Friends of Fullerton Public Library
The Friends of the Fullerton Public Library is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting FPL and its services and programs by advocating for public support and use of the Library, by generating current and long-term funding, and by developing volunteer involvement. The Friends primarily raise funds from three sources: (1) book sales throughout the year, (2) Friends memberships, and (3) the Friends Bookstore.
The Friends of the Fullerton Public Library are always looking for enthusiastic library fans to volunteer in the bookstore, manage online sales, assist with sorting and pricing book donations, and help at special events. Volunteer Application
Cash or check donations can be dropped off at the Friends Bookstore, located inside the Main Library. Please make checks out to The Friends of the Fullerton Public Library or FFPL.
Founded in 1958 as the Newport Bureau of Volunteerism, and later known as the Volunteer Center of Orange County, OneOC’s mission is to accelerate nonprofit success, helping nonprofits in Orange County (like public libraries) become as efficient and effective as they are passionate about their missions and the people they serve.
