Mission Statement
The Library brings the Fullerton community together by honoring and preserving its past and serving as a welcoming space where ideas, stories, and knowledge are explored and shared.
In its selection of books and other materials, the Fullerton Public Library upholds the doctrines of "Freedom of Speech" and "Freedom of Press" as guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. The Library also subscribes to the principles adopted by the American Library Association in its Library Bill of Rights, the Freedom to Read statement, and the Freedom to View statement.

- Access: Adhere to and provide equitable access to the library and its many resources for all in our community.
- Responsiveness: Support programs and services that reflect the people and cultures of the Fullerton community.
- Diversity and Creativity: Support programs and services that celebrate arts and culture, reflecting the diverse population of the Fullerton community.
- Service: Promote personal enrichment, meaningful connection, high quality services, preservation of our city's rich history, and lifelong learning and literacy for all ages through welcoming spaces.
- Inclusion: Foster inclusion, creativity and community belonging.
