Effective June 4, 2026, the library will no longer issue refunds for lost materials that have been paid for.*
Due to the administrative costs associated with processing refunds, staff time, and repurchasing materials, continuing to offer refunds is no longer feasible.
Patrons with lost materials may choose from the following options:
- Pay for the lost item and keep it if it is later found
- Donate the recovered item back to the library
- Replace the lost item in accordance with the library’s replacement materials policy

*For payments made between June 4, 2025 and June 4, 2026, refund requests may still be considered through the library’s prior review process.
