This allows teachers to check out class related items for a 6 week period. Available to both resident and non-resident teachers who teach in the City of Fullerton.
Teacher Requests
The Fullerton Public Library has many resources available to help you and your students succeed. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you find the right materials to supplement your curriculum and to help you encourage reading in your students. If you would like our professional children’s services staff to select materials for you, please come in for a visit.
To provide you with quality service, please keep in mind the following:

There is a subject limitation on all requests and number of books supplied will be based on availability of materials. Our staff will do their best to accommodate your needs.
Please allow 5 days from order due date. Please call on your pick up date to ensure your books are ready for you.

California Deparment of Education Recommended Reading Lists
For Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. The state has compiled a collection of outstanding literature for children and adolescents. The recommended titles reflect the quality and the complexity of the types of material students should be reading at school and outside of class.

Santa Ana Zoo
The Santa Ana Zoo occupies 20 acres and includes a rain forest, endangered species, an aviary, a steam train and children’s zoo right in the middle of the Orange County urban jungle. It is a fun place for your whole family to enjoy and rediscover the wonder of the natural world together. |

Oak Canyon Nature Center
The center is a 58-acre natural park nestled in the Anaheim Hills. Consisting of three adjoining canyons, four miles of hiking trails traverse one of the few remaining areas of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub in our region. The John J. Collier Interpretive Center is a small museum with live animal and regional natural history exhibits. |
Fullerton Arboretum
The Arboretum is a 26-acre botanical garden with an ecologically arranged collection of plants from around the world. The beautiful grounds offer visitors a peaceful garden setting in the midst of our urban area. Children’s classes and activities are offered. |
